Can I change the name of the windows system folder?

I had my current PC built by someone else and they used my full name when installing Windows.  :whaa:

Look at the attached screenshot.

I cannot just rename that folder because it contains the system files. (or can I?)

Does anyone know of a simple way I can do this without re-formatting and re-installing windows, or would that just be easier.

DON'T rename it. That's not a good idea. Just create a new Windows user name.

Thanks; I changed the user name, but the folder name I did not change.

After reading up a little more I learned that it is a bad idea to change the folder name like you are saying.

I will have to watch myself when posting screenshots a little closer, once in a while I post my full name by accident.

simply renaming the folder is really bad, because windows will give errors then for sure.. nice sig btw ;)

Thanks, I am going to avoid the trouble and just leave things as they are.

And the sig; That is the one where Peter forgot how to sit... :haha: Some days I feel the same way :tard:
