I figure its the hard drive cause when i download the same file on another machine it completes(Anyone know any good software that will scan and repair my hard drive? Thanx...... Quick test to eliminate memory being the problem...If you have more than one chip, take one out, try to download. Blunted 2 Posted December 18, 2005 CID Share Posted December 18, 2005 you might have a bad block on your hard drive which means there is a scratch or something on the HD and it cant write to that spot anymore. check your error logs and it might say if it does have a bad block. as you can see i have a bad HD and i already know it has a bad block so check your logs.
