CA3LE Posted December 2, 2004 CID Share Posted December 2, 2004 damnit.. why cant we just say "unno" and believe that my speeds are realy that 1337 =( So you are admitting that the PHP version is more accurate?
xs1 Posted December 3, 2004 Author CID Share Posted December 3, 2004 no im admitting that i have a very mediocre cable conection, and you keep raining on my parade by telling me thoes scores arent accurate because of the language in which their written
RTB Posted December 3, 2004 CID Share Posted December 3, 2004 I suppose "less accurate" is the best description for the cgi tests. Inaccurate would mean CA3LE doesn't provide the most accurate speed test results, and that's an obvious lie
VanBuren Posted December 3, 2004 CID Share Posted December 3, 2004 and remember no speedtest is 100% accurate, even tho Testmy.net is very close that dosent mean that the fastest speedtest is the most accurate, i have a feeling alot of ppl think that. My ISP speedtest is the most accurate i ever seen, but its not a "web" test, its a complete testprogram that measure your speed for 10 seconds upstream and downstream. Both in UDP and TCP. That make the testfile size in my case around 1.2 MB/s x 10 = 12 MB and for 100 Mbps connections 120 MB. VanBuren
