I would like to know what your internet speed is, your internet speed plan and the cable type you use, like RJ45 Cat 5E? One of my notebooks with 1 000Mbps port is not working and now i use a USB adapter. Some 1000 Mbps adapters are fake. I find it because I bought 3 different adapters. @Ppcc The cooling sytem is very important and the Power Supply for Wi-Fi routers. My choices for testing and to study are TMN and Cloudflare. We don´t know about the performance of ViewQwest, MyRepublic and other ISP. I don`t notice the dfference of 10% less internet speed. Some shoemakers and others might find. 95 is 5% less than 100 Mbps. 950 is 5% less than 1000 Mbps, Internet Ports have speed limit protocol. Large fans with the same airflow make less noise. @Ppcc Our recent local bargain was the TP-Link Deco X50-5G LTE WLAN Router, 5G Router SIM Card, 2.5 Gbps Port + 2 x Gigabit Ports, Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 My best Old Router is made by ASUS with Asuswrt - Merlin Firmware. Most people in the world are not blind or stupid.

i forgot when i found TestMyNet, probably before 2011? anyways i went looking for other speedtesting websites exactly because i heard ISPs around the world and in my country(singapore) are literally bribing Speedtest dot net to give their consumers/clients faked results. the only other consisent way i could to check my IRL download speed was to torrent large files, then check the avg download speeds, but that way is impossible to pinpoint slowdowns due to country-to-country throttling(which supposedly my ISP is also hiding /covering up), torrent sources come from all over the world(mostly USA it seems).

IIRC correctly server machines are suppose to handle multi-threading better and have been tested to run 24/7 without shutting down? gaming PCs are fast, but not tested for industrial use cases. they might not last as long as your old server machines. but if you're already shopping ebay for 2nd-hand machines which might have quite a lot of "mileage" on them already, a brand new gaming PC might have life left in them than the 2nd-hand server machines.

i would say check reviews and hope most of the review aren't faked? but since there's a global trade war against CCP's china now, i would say avoid any stuff that needs to be imported from some warehouse in china, if only to avoid a surprise customs tax or months of waiting due to trade complications. and well, i never knew any IRL person who wanted to buy one or talk about it. i've only recently heard about the Nokia router being cheap, but that thing seems to require an "app" to control. i'm not even sure my old phones can install that app. and my last router's app (was a online browser AND phone app though)killed off its service after less than 1 yr, so i can't make full use of my router's features anymore. i don't trust routers that supposedly need an online-only "app" to control, that the manufacturer can just kill it off at anytime...

Address IP: 188.241.177.xxx. I am also happy to have almost 50 Mbps Upload. Some internet users have more and others have less speeds. In some countries, 25 Mbps upload is an excellent. Less than 25 Mbps is less expensive. I hope people with ADSL will soon or one day have fiber optics or 5G or 5G FWA from a tower, because Starlink or from other low-orbit satellites is more expensive. To Administrator, When I signed in to run a speed test, I almost got hooked on a installation of a program that at first I thought was from you all, I did not allow the installation and ran my speed test. Afterwords, I tried to create a message to Cable to ask him if he was aware of this other Quick Speed test that was coming up when I hit run combined tests. never have i connected the AirPods to any other device than my own. So check this out , I have been experimenting, so i connected them to the work phone, the same one that pesters me that there are AAirPods traveling with me, and that phone still gives the message 🙃

So I found an article dealing with a different OBS user who could not on his desktop stream above like 16750 kbps yet on his laptop he could do 51000 Same ISP same connection cable etc. I then read about these items called Receive and Transmit buffers and a tool called R1TCPOptimizer so I gave it a try and when I first loaded it I was showing Very small Buffer amounts with both Receive and Transmit Sadly I do not recall exact numbers (I wish I had written them down) But using my Download speed and Upload speed and a RTT of 100 MS it said I should have them at 25001984 Receive Buffer and 3751936 Send Buffers and since then I can easily stream at 24000 kbps with no dropped frames and very minor fluctuation from the requested 24000 kbps . I think this fixed it. I will surely let you know if anything goes wonky on me.
