that box seems so muddled it might just be worth calling the geek squad. scnr yeah, try a different vid car, or onboard if you have. then go into the bios menu and disable as many devices as you can. test everything and see what happens. then put in the vid card you want to run. (remember to disable the onboard video) run tests again. if all clean then bring in the other disabled devices (lpt, serial, floppy, hdd controllers not in use, onboard audio etc you disabled before) one by one, checking after each one if there is a problem.

first off, don't knock the vikings. i take personal offense at tat. second. no, hitler wasn't a genius. i doubt the volkswagen and the autobahn were his idea. he just pushed them through. and the way he did it wasn't nice either. (plenty of forced labor) and we can be glad that hitler was as inept strategically as he was. he micromanaged military units from the top (just like vietnam, and we lost that one too) and overextended his military. with the military power germany had they could have easily won WWII if the military leaders had been allowed to do their thing. keep that in mind. but hitler messed with the conventional troops too much and spent too much time and resources on his pet "special" weapons. those went so far that they actually had an MP (submachinegun) that had a 90 degree bend in the barrel to shoot around corners without exposing the shooter.

the headbone is connected to the neckbone most switches will have an uplink port. run a cable from that to one of the ports on the router. then plg all your machines into the switch. (just keeps it tidy. you can of course continue using the other available ports on the router)

i hear ya baby. you can dress up for cold but not for warm. one thing i miss down here is a nice day around 40 degrees to go on a bicycle tour in shorts and t-shirt, having only physical exertion as a way to stay warm. makes for a great way to cover distance, you never take a break for long.

wel usually cool is not problem for the brits, and if it is a bit warmer the more solid brick structures they live in stay cool better than the wood and drywall houses in the states. and there are plenty of options for noncentral heating. i bet roco has a stove and some electric heaters. or maybe catalytic gas burners.
