Seriously try the towel trick. It works. I haven't tried it but I know people who have. If your worried about it happening again I would just send her in to MS. I sent in 4 Premium consoles in so far. I bought an Elite so now I own both Premium and Elite. I have to have a back up now since I lost trust in MS in their consoles.

Ok, on my main Desktop PC I am getting like 6.5 mb download and 512 kb upload. On the laptop I am getting 5.5 mb download and 486 kb upload. How can I get my full speed with my laptop? Or am I pretty much at where I can get? Could I change my wireless settings to like N or something different than G?

Yeah I am just trying to find something cheap I can use without hooking a modem and all that junk up. I want one with those wireless cards and you pay so much and get wireless internet where you can get it.

Yeah, I got Vista on my new Toshiba Satellite laptop. It runs very smooth on it. Only problem I have is the bottom bar (start menu, clock, etc.) will freeze up once and a while and I will have to mess around and wait until it says Windows Explorer is restarting, or I will have to restart my whole PC in general. It sucks balls, I been googling trying to find the issue, but I haven't came across anything.

Ok, I check what was taken from my bank account via my bank site. It says every purchase, deposit, etc. Do any of you not use your check book due to this? Ok his rents PC can only connect via USB since it is old. Can he do this? Have his rents PC hooked up via USB, and then the ethernet cable to the router and then do it that way?

ok friend has a motoola modem, his rents pc is hooked via usb cable on the modem and his pc is hooked via ethernet. They both wont work online for some reason. I had him unplug everything for 2 minutes to reset and it still didnt work. only on the usb, any idea how to get the ethernet on to work?
