Thanks for the info that you found. But yeah when I did get all five working they all sounded evenly crisp and clear. N come to find out, I had both my old Surround Sound and my new one hooked up same time and I like this Matrix mode or whatever this surround sound has. It sounds way better! So I know there is nothing wrong with this unit now and it was def. worth the value of $100.

I honestly don't know....Here is the deal, and I still don't get it. But anyways. Okay so I attempted to play several PS3 games (all Dolby Digital) and nothing. I then try my XM, nothing...HDTV...Nothing...I then decided to try some DVD movies and was finding out that they weren't working either. So I decided to look for 5.1 movies only. Well that worked. I just don't know why nothing else will play through my center, because my old 1,000 watt Philips played everything center or the others, or both. This one seems to be doing only 5.1 and coming through center specifically on 5.1 movies only. I donno maybe I am messing with wrong settings on this thing or something. But ya, at least I know nothing is wrong with it. Even if there was I would have to jus wait until someone brought me another one through the shop

I figured it out. N I couldn't take it back I got it dirt cheap.

I had bought this Surround Sound and it seems like the Center speaker is on mute for some reason. I have done everything, cold reset, and even put the center on another channel and it sounded great. If you hold your ear to the speaker it sounds muted, other than that you can't hear it lol. At the price I got it I am not to worried about it, just curious if it's the unit or something I am doing wrong in the settings. Btw great surround sound, besides the issues. Hits way harder than my 1,000 watt Philips.

Nice. Alright appreciate the info! My a505 gets about 3 hours 45 minutes on high performance and 4 hours 30 minutes on balanced. Wow since knowing you have the same laptop, do you have the extended battery? What I mean is the one which makes it sit up more in the back. Also it is a bigger cell battery I believe. But reason I ask is because my battery has major play in it. Just curious to see because my friend also bought the same one as me and his is really loose as well. Again thanks for the info tho.

Okay, so I went and bought a new laptop. A Toshiba A505, and I love it. Anyways noticing it has the same power saving settings as Vista does, I was wondering how much power does your PC lose when you switch it from High Performance to balanced? Also will my battery get junk quicker leaving it plugged in a lot? Thanks. Anyone looking for a new good laptop the Toshiba a505 is excellent!

Hello all! I have a quick question if anyone wouldn't mind helping me out with. I am trying to reformat a Acer 5515 and the eRecovery isn't working. It was deleted, and so was anything else Acer preinstalled on the Laptop. Yepp, it sucks because when I try using a windows vista basic disc it says something about not being able to install the os because of the version of some sort...I donno it's confusing!! How can I format the HDD's (Acer has dual HDD it seems...) and then install vista via disc?? Thanks for any help!

I used a whole different laptop to do it, one with windows xp. I called tech support and supposedly my toshiba satellite p105 has driver issues with ipods or something. Anyways here is a quick question if anyone could help me out. If I connect via my wireless on my router will I be charged data, or because it is my own internet I am safe?? Thanks again!

Okay, so just last week I had to send in my 80 GB iPod because it wouldn't format on iTunes. So I bought a iPhone yesterday off my buddy for $150, 16GB btw! I love it, messed with it all day! Okay, so I decided to do the 2 hour reset option for the iPhone. Did it and iTunes DOES NOT detect my iPhone...Soooo I now have a new iPhone that just sits at a main screen wanting me to hook it into iTunes but it simply won't recognize it. I have tried updating drivers, downgrading iTunes, n I guess I am on last resort today...Trying several different computer while I am at work. Please help!!

Yes, it can see it. But then it freezes up iTunes and Windows Explorer. It does this on several PC's.

Ayways, for anyone trying to help me...Here is what I did. Tried formatting the iPod to NTFS on a Winows XP PC and a Vista Laptop. I can get it to format sometimes, sometimes I can't. Now, I know the iPod is supposed to be in FAT32 not NTFS but I was just following a thing I Googled. Now my iPod has NOTHING on it, when I plug it up it freezes Windows Explorer up. To unfreeze it, I have to proceed to put my iPod into Disk Mode which does work for importing pictures and music to view only on another PC. Well, I hope I can really get help. I just bought this several months ago, and it always seems I got bad luck with MP3 players.

Ugh...songbird freezes up just as well as iTunes. I don't know what to do anymore lol.

This thing has been nothing but a HUGE bummer. I been spending at least 2 hours a day trying to get this thing working. I tried almost everything you can Google lol. I formatted it on SEVERAL computers, all I can use it for now is a external HDD. It works for that ..I am going to give songbird a try right now.

Okay, my 80 Gb classic has been acting real weird. I only have 3,000 songs on it and was only using 13 GB. Well today it says I only have like 31 MB, WTF?! It hasn't been connected to anything in a minute lol, so I know nothing else synced. Well, when I connect it to my PC it says connected on the iPod but iTunes will freeze up and my PC wont detect my iPod no more. Any help pleaasseee...I just lost my 30 GB Zune, I can't lose this iPod...errr.

Well...I would prob be on it A LOT...Mostly testmy.net, gamefly, forums, and not really any downloading at all. So browsing doesn't really use much?

Just wondering who uses this. I can't get RR at my apartment because it is inside of a store. So now I have to result in crappy 5 GB limited stuff. I don't have a phone line so DSL is not a option. Anyways, would 5 Gb last me all month if I browsed web pages all day, and no downloading...I know I know I use like 10 GB a day just on cable because of downloading. This stinks. Anyways please help me out.
