Hmm I wonder if I added another 2GB to my Toshiba a505 if it would make that big of a difference. On my meter it says my laptop is only using like 2.6 GB of the 4 GB is had anyways so I am assuming it would be useless. N if I did this I will have to buy a 4 GB stick of ram because the a505 only has 2 slots.

I will prolly grab one as well, but will wait til the 2nd gen...UNLESS a first gen comes into my second hand store for cheap! I would love to have one of these puppies jailbreakin' ..

Hmm this is weird...Are some dead pixels diff? I just used DPT Dead Pixel Tester and clicked info and it said yellow dot on white screen or black dot on blue screen it is DEAD. mine does neither...I tried tapping and everything.

Blah! Alright, I guess I am stuck with a burnt pixel then...Geesh, ANY electronics I buy seem to have SOMETHING go wrong and I seem to just not have the luck...Oh well I guess, ugh... What causes these friggin' things?! It seems like ANY laptop I buy I can not get a break. My last Compaq (burnt pixels), my last Toshiba (burnt pixel), Yawwnnnzzz yepp my new Toshiba a505 burnt pixel in the top left. All I see is a tiny small dot. I tried JScreen or whatever it is pixel remover and nothing. Is this just my luck or am I doing something to cause these or what? I can't take it back because I am passed my 30 days, but ugh what the is going on?

I THINK I found one on eBay. The company sells ANY key you need for the Acer Aspire Netbook but I have to wait until I get home to make sure it is correct laptop key. $3.99 with free shipping is OKAY but worth it to me just for her. Thanks for the help! N naa no pink laptop for me haha.

I got my girl a Pink acer aspire netbook for a good price but the battery was bad and the Pg Up Home key is broke. I found the battery replacement for pretty cheap on eBay but I did a Google for the missing key and found a few sites. But none direct me to the actual key. If someone could PLZ PLZ help me find the white Pg Up replacement key I would appreciate it. I want this laptop looking nice for my girl.

You're right my friend...I was so dumb! I ran ccleaner a few times then restarted n it asked for master password...Blah this program rocks now!! Btw best program EVER if you have a bazillion passwords...Dead up it is a life saver...

I have two toshiba laptops (not my a505), I am trying to take ram from the one and supe the other up. The one is PC2-4200s-444-12 and PC2-6400s-666-12...I am almost positive it won't work but would like to know. If it DON'T work can someone link me or explain how to tell if one ram will work in the other?? Thanks a lot...I am sorry people I know I am a pain in the ass on these forums! i also forgot to add, by looking at the two the pins match....But I don't wanna be blowing anything up.

Still having the issue if anyone finds anything out. I hope this doesn't continue or I wish I could at least figure the issue. It is bothering me and I bet I am going to have to end up sending it into Toshiba. Btw I didn't have any issues today, I donno I wish I had a stat recorder or something to figure out what it is doing when it lags up...

My stats seem to be running normal when it does it. My buddy who got the identical laptop has his next to mine everyday, and it seems like mine does it when the fan kicks in high gear or something...Or does it more when it is runner hotter. His does it, but not as often. Ugh...

Yes, first time. BUT I tried restarting and nothing. I had to dig deep on Google lol. I could not get sound until I pulled the battery and restarted that way. Anyways, i am having this mouse lock up more now today since I been home since 6 it froze on me 3 times. now by freezing I mean a quick 1-3 second pause...The mouse just stops for a second or 2 and boom it's back, but it is very noticeable and annoying! I donno if this is a simple fix or should I just be pissed and lose everything I installed so far and get a new one before my 30 days is up.

Okay and that very well is not the case for me. I HAVE to enter in my Master Password before my first attempt online...But to view my passwords in start menu anyone can. is this like it for you to? HEY MOMMA!!

I just recently tried this program and loved it. But I see a flaw, and it seems anyone who accesses your computer can view any password you have saved. So I uninstalled this due to being nervous about it. Anyways, to view your passwords without even entering your master password do this. Just go to AI RoboForm in the start menu and click edit passcards, and viola! You can click any site you saved. If I am missing something to lock this I would appreciate you help! I would like to re install because it was useful. Thanks!

Okay, I fixed the sound issue...I had to pull the battery...very interesting...

This is screwed...my sound went out in my a505 today...Shows its playing n everything, just nothing peeps on the volume up or anything.

Yeah, I just got this mouse via FedEx this morning. I been using it all day at work, and love it! So far no lock ups.

Mine does the same thing with the sound every once and a blue moon bro. I guess just some minor glitches! Ordered me a Microsoft Mobile 6000 mouse anyway for $29.99, so I will be using that more often.

Okay this question is for the dude who has the a505. Or anyone that may know the issue. Okay ever since I owned this laptop I have been having this small issue. When ever I get to doing a bunch of things, sometimes my mouse will freeze up for a very few seconds and then everything will be good again. Any clue why this would do this? I donno if it is something I should be worried about n take the laptop back or what. I'd rather not take the laptop back because I just broke this bad boy in and am in love with it.
