Well like I said I just set up my cable in my new house and it seems that everyone has satellite and not cable so im like the only one with it, and the technician had said that im lucky to be getting these speeds now, so im not complaining D Its just that with a 3000/384 plan I never knew I would get an increase of this magnitude

Upload is much lower than yours its only 384, and i usually get around 361 kbps

Yeah, in my area Earthlink is under Time Warner, but they also use Comcast and other companies, and I dont know if ill get faster speeds since im so much closer, that will be cool but not likely to happen since I have cable and not dsl. I'll just have to wait for Tuesday to see what happens. Only thing I can say right now is at least I can use Earthlink's dial up service for now, so I have some sort of internet, though dial up sucks, its better than nothing.

I already had cable internet in my other house, Earthlink, and now that I moved they said they have to come to this house and give me cable again, what doesnt make sense is that I already have a digital box and their cable modem, so why cant they just send a signal to my house from their headquarters (which is 5 blocks away) instead and not this crap that I have to wait a week for them to come and give me my service.

Same here I use Avant Browser, which is based partially on IE but is much more advanced, and enhanced, and has more features than firefox already built in. Also like Maxthon it has customizable skins, so in my "opinion" I like Avant way more than I would ever like Firefox. By the way Firefox works much more better with Linux than XP.

Hey VanBuren what kind of internet connection's do they have in Sweden because thats pretty fast for a european connection, my relatives in Greece have the only thing available and thats a 2.5Mbps DSL plan, and those are very expensive.

I know, I have the same problem, I have a 3000/384 package and lately ive been getting uploads anywhere from 179-220 which is like half off and I have no idea whats going on. In terms of an upload tweak I dont know if one exists, You might hae to ask VanBuren or the rest of this awesome group of people in this site D Who know about tweaking a lot better than me.

Those are nice speeds for Verizon, I heard they had an upgrade only for New Yorkers, but now i see it, not bad those are pretty good speeds D

Yea i know what u mean, im not saying I like IE better than Firefox, Im just saying that with IE I got faster speeds for some reason, but overall I think Firefox is much better than IE, but what I like and use is Avant Browser. D

You see thats weird I heard people say that their speeds increase with Firefox, but when I was using Firefox my speeds remained the same and to tell u the truth I dont really like the browser that much anyway )
