For some reason, just the last few minutes the forum writing and the whole strip of info has been shrinking. I went to different web pages, they are fine. In reply it is ok. But after I post, it shrinks. Just wondered if I accidently changed something, if we were being attacked again, etc... Just weird.

Just curious Reso. When a huricane hits PR, who helps. I really don't know. I know it has to be much different.

Through the neighbors yard, field, fencing, mean dogs, etc... Why not?

And that is from Waaaaaaaaaay over seas. Nice speeds Van.

Their mayor did. He was not too concerned at all. Till it showed he could get some publicity.

They always say they could have gotten us off, afterwards. Why not ever before? I did luckily run into my lawyer in court unexpectedly one time. I was there to take care of it, and he had moved to another state a few years before. And there he stood. Hwe asked so how are things? Duh. I said things would be much better if you would fix this while you happened to be here anyway. He gave me one heck of a discount and got it dropped. Yeah, he is a great lawyer. To me anyway. -
"Files Needed" Pop-Up During The Repairing of Windows?
tommie gorman replied to altoidz's topic in HELP!
As long as things are backed up, sometimes it is really quicker just to reformat. Just a thought. -
I'm getting 2x speed of what I'm paying for.
tommie gorman replied to Psycho!'s topic in Make it Faster...
Yeah right Reso. Just enjoy it. It might also be since so many others go knocked offline leaving more bandwidth for you and select others. I seriously doubt they will even bother. It will probably just go back to normal. Hurry up a download some things. -
"Files Needed" Pop-Up During The Repairing of Windows?
tommie gorman replied to altoidz's topic in HELP!
My first guess would be to turn it off and plug the mouse and keyboard back in then boot up again. Hope that helped. It did for me once. -

I prefer a good foundation (second HD) also Roco. Sad story there. Sounds like it turned out well though. I sometimes feel sorry for Brits losing their humor. Maybe you could sell them some. I mean when stuff is funny, LAUGH damn it. -
And like Reso says, we already know if your equipment is any good. You already asked for help on here. So we know it is broke. They don't.

Welcome to the forum run Hopefully they answered your question. If you get the quote, you might post back the results. Thanks.

OK, hopefully a good example. I sell you something for computers. It leaves my house in working order. You recieve it not working. We flame on the forum from it. (outside of that section also). Not proper of course. But that is human nature. There are no built in guarantees like buyer credits and such like there is in ebay where you can put up bad credits or what ever. (you can tell by my terminology I don't ebay much ) Anyway now you have upset members. If we traded on ebay, we would more than likely not even know we were on the same forum. But I guess the same risk comes from PM's, so never mind. I think I conveyed that right.

MJFSOL so your speeds won't really change then? And your price per month will drop? Isn't that good news? Maybe I missed the key here.

RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTIONS ! ! !

I think they had the worst mayor they could of ever had. He should be their biggest disgrace ever. He is no different than Jesse Jackson. And you would not believe how many scammers came from down there. I will give one example. These kids came up here and rented a house from me. They were on the take and eventually were on the run. They claimed to have so many things back there it is not funny, house, cars, belongings. Come to find out from their relatives, they had nothing back home. The gov't gave them so much $$$ it was unreal. They thought it wasfunny. And who lost money on that deal, all of the taxpayers. (me included) I have had slevere storm damage from ice really bad, it really cost me a bunch, did I get any help? Fema did help pick up the trees(when they got around to it. And it was up to me to pay to have it tken out to the street. The insurance did not help, it appears ice is much different damage than most other storms. They seem to think ice damage is not covered on any of my rental houses or my own home. But if a roof leaks and causes damage, it is covered for repairs. So I got no help. It really set me back. The yelling about the gov't not stepping in quick enough, and all that other crap just made me sick eventually. I guess I finally got it out. Sorry for any offended individuals. But it really stunk in a predjudiced way at Katrina. OK folks did need extreme help. I just have not figured out why they went and rebuilt the town back under sea level. Why not back fill to the dams first. Then It could not happen again. And they would have somewhere to dump the refuse. I guess I just don't understand some things. But, I guess I am not supposed to. One more thing, I meant the things that happened in and from New Orleans. Not the rest of the folks. (the rest of Louisiana or Texas etc...) Sorry.

Or is it "SON OF A BIT*H, THEY ARE TOUGH IN NORTH DAKOTA" After reading this I would have to say...(you know) I got this in an e-mail. Aren't real american's great? "This text is from a county emergency manager out in the Western part of North Dakota State after the recent snow storm. WEATHER BULLETIN Up here in the Northern Plains we just recovered from a Historic event---may I even say a "Weather Event" of "Biblical Proportions" --- with a historic blizzard of up to 44" inches of snow and winds to 90 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10's of thousands. FYI: George Bush did not come. FEMA did nothing. No one howled for the government. No one blamed the government. No one even uttered an expletive on TV. Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit. Our Mayor's did not blame Bush or anyone else. Our Governor did not blame Bush or anyone else either CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, or NBC did not visit - or report on this category 5snow storm nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards. No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House. No one looted. Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something. Nobody expected the government to do anything either No Larry King, No Katie Couric, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No Geraldo Rivera. No Sean Penn, No Barbara Striesand, No Hollywood types to be found. And Nope, we just melted the snow for water. Sent out caravans of SUV's to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars. The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn't ask for a penny. Local restaurants made food, and the police and fire departments delivered it to the snow bound families. Families took in the stranded people - total strangers. We Fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanterns. We put on an extra layers of clothes because up here it is "Work or Die". We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for 'sittin at home' checks. Even though a Category "5" blizzard of this scale has never fallen this early, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves. "In my many travels, I have noticed that once one gets north of about 48 degrees North Latitude, 90% of the world's social problems evaporate." It does seem that way, at least to me. I hope this gets passed on.. Maybe . SOME people will get the message . The world does Not owe you a living. =" It made me think. And be thankful folks help each other.

Hey, all is good. Thanks for asking. -
Never had a N64. The SNES the last one I messed with, and mine was messed up, so I needed most everything that came with it. Works fine.

Well as long as she thought so and got me up to speed, that was all I cared that day. I think that would be reasonable though. Guess that is partly why we are waiting for something better. Me anyway. -
Yeah, I got a Super Nintendo on here. In PM's.

OK fikester, you are right. I just called and I guess I was told totally wrong. Shit happens. Not even guaranteed to 1 kbps. And yes, I am also on a 500/50 account. I asked while I was there. -

That is what they told me at tech support. Then I guess I was told wrong. Oh well, they did that day. And I was glad.
