  1. If it is Australia, then those are pretty good across the puddle then.
  2. You mean the sky is falling again Damn it. So you have to ask, did man also cause the ice age in the first place?? Hell no. It was natural. So why can global warming not also be natural. Politics says they prefer to brain wash us everytime we turn around. Eggs are bad for you, eggs are good for you again. Some of the old hotrods with high compression were much more efficient than todays auto mobile. But they had to raise the price of cars to get fixed, so they went and brainwashed us once again to think they had to have computers and such to be more efficient. The media is in the pocket of big business. So is the gov't. GET REAL. Money always makes the wheels go round.
  3. Sucked, not sure. Who is his ISP? What are his ad speeds. That might be real good. It would be outstanding for me.
  4. I feel so silly. I have even posted in this thread twice already today, and I just noticed I did not have the X-mas theme changed over again.
  5. I am not a tree hugger. But in the same breath a tree is a wonderful thing. Why do older homes (definately not newer ones) have several trees around them? Never mind. I will make a thread on this one. I think mudmanc4 is saying we are definately going to finish screwing up this planet. So we should be getting ready to move. But in the mean time we should clean it up for the new tenants.
  6. Well you know how trolls are. Plunder by day, and play by night. Or was that the other way around.
  7. Your right shug, he does resemble the most. Smile Reso.
  8. There you go SidV, much better speeds. You were not letting it run long enough to get it warmed up. Much better. Never use the smart test, for your connection use the 2992 file test for D/L and the 579 for U/L.
  9. That is true, it is good to run an online one once in a while in case the installed one gets corrupted.
  10. I see your speeds are as fast as ever joeandjan518
  11. Welcome to the forum clanders08 Your son looks very special. If those are speeds with wild blue, they are not real. You need to clear your temporary files and retest. Thank you.
  12. Eating Tips for the Holidays 1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls. 2. Drink as much eggnog as you can and quickly. You can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that it has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an "eggnog-aholic" or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it!!!! Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Christmas! 3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand-alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat. 4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission. 5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat other people's food for free. Lots of it. Hello??? 6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog. 7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave them behind, you're never going to see them again. 8. Same for pies. Apple, pumpkin and mincemeat - have a slice of each. Or, if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day? 9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have some standards. 10. One final tip: If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention. Reread tips: Start over, but hurry, January is just around the corner. Add any you find interesting. Diet heck. Have fun if you can.
  13. Pretty decent looking coknuck. Thanks.
  14. Not bad SidV, for a 6000. But try these tests. And cleanout your temp files before testing. U/L http://www.testmy.net/ul-579 D/L http://www.testmy.net/dl-2992 Your test size was too small to give an accurate speed.
  15. Nah, it takes about 2 hours total. Zero radius John Deere. Including trimming. Except the pond area.
  16. Yeah, my brother lived in CT for a few years. He said he was in charge of a railroad place. And he felt like he was living in poverty. Decided to come back to MO. Stress free is right. Except I am married. That is not stree free. Well...maybe. Guess it is a big yard to hide in. The kids love the yard. They have so much room to play. They could have a horse if they really wanted. It is 2 acres.
  17. Cable will never span the miles. And I prefer to live in the country. A couple pics of my place. Reply #59 + Reply #61 http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-16019;all
  18. I am 5 miles from Liberty city limits. And the DSL is newly installed there. It was installed for a new neighborhood, that has not had a house built on it yet. It is supposed to support 6.0 according to my brother in law who works for SBC. I would do a dance for 3.0. And no storm interference. Or soon due icing on the dish. And save big bucks. $$ I pay $59.95 now and 3.0 is $24.95 I believe.
  19. 5 miles from civilization. In any 3 directions. DSL is like 1/4 mile from my house. The phone co. says when they get around to it. My satelite contract is up, so I can switch anytime I please. 64068 zip. Not sure it will make any difference.
  20. Nice car. And cable does not like the country. Only cheap hope is DSL. *crosses fingers again*
  21. Well you have fun, and don't forget the address here.
  22. Those speeds appear so unreal, I will have to pinch myself someday if I ever get something faster. Nice speeds Sammy. What kind of car is it??
  23. I would guess a spyware scan in safe mode, or have you rebooted after installing.
  24. Yeah, if AVG ever comes up with a complete package deal for all their stuff, I might get on the wagon. Kinda like "Nortons Internet Security Suite". I just hate Norton. But I love AVG. And much more reasonable. Plus they help poh folks with their free version. Norton can't say that.
