I know, I used to be on hughes for a few years. And one day I looked (after many a long search) and behold there was EVDO. And I have not had any sad memories for it either. It was merely a suggestion to look. And way more available than the others you mentioned. If you can get a cell phone to work ............. well thats what EVDO runs on. It cost me $69.95. No rain delays, no ice on the dish, way better U/L, and way faster surfing. And I am 5 miles from civilization.

Or get EVDO if possible. Way better than satelite. Sprint seems to have the happiest customers. I pay the same with way less issues.
