Does this work in Vista? How to error-check: 1. Double click the my computer icon on the desktop. The my computer window will open. Right click on Local Disk (C:). Click properties. 2. Select the tools tab. Under the error-checking section click check now. 3. A window will pop up with options check the two boxes then click start. 4. It will say that it will run at the next restart. Vista for me has been as stable and reliable as XP was. At first it was way different. But now no different for real.

News flash, no satelite works under those conditons often. And why I switched to EVDO. I like to on at those times also. No way to help with that one. Its just nature of the beast. And welcome to the forum.

Yes with that custom button you can tweak it some. I myself find that Optimal settings usually work best though. And always remember it takes 2-3 days for all tweaks to settle in fully. Make sure there are no other programs running at the same time.

When yo udo make sure first thing you remove all unwanted programs right off that bat. Like the temp usage Norton. The first thing I kick to the curb. And shut down all not often used programs too. ONly to come up if prompted status.

Have youtried it without the router in between to see how it goes without it restricting it? Have you tried with your firewall down just for the test? Is there any programs running in the background? Instant messenger etc... Have you contacted Shaw about it too? If so what did they say?
