whats up bro everything looks cool to me and the reason for the rpm is going lower is probably cause you got the blanket of dust off so its running cooler and not needing the extra rpm's. as for the clicking noise try checking the fans and see if something is stuck in there or try to find out where the noise is coming from and we can go from there. i'll probably talk to you on xbox live before you see this anyway.

the way you say it is like your using a router or usb. what is your setup? i get full speeds on 15/2 with my linksys WRT54G router but with 30/2 it gets about 22 to 26 but my netgear does only about 12.

cablenut wont help you if you are capped so call optimum online and get up-capped. thats the only way to get it faster now for you.

well a router is like a 200 MHZ processor or about there so just think how fast a router your comp would make with linux running on it. i use my comp connected to a switch and anything connected to that switch gets dhcp from my pc. also i do this cause i have a 30 mb connection and most routers wont do those speeds but my comp has no problems at all

^^ he knows his stuff and yes it does alot because if i use my comp un-tweaked i will only get about 900 upload to california but if i tweak it i get about 1900 upload so that shows you how much of a difference it makes with the 360 since its not tweakable

only if you go through your computer it will help out a bit.

i have that same problem man sometimes and they say you are getting 30 mb down but i know i'm not and it goes back and fourth but hey if you hit about 1200 Kb/s then your getting right about where you need to be but remember the further you download from the slower its gonna get. thats just the way it works good luck

maybe a few more files to try but i just wanna see something. try this file and post the results and statistics back from this site again( http://miranda.ctd.anl.gov:7123/ ) and i should know a file that might make it better and we can do some more testing at different sites to see if you can download at that speed from anywhere but distance might be limiting your speed to here. we'll see
