our house connections are catching up cause my down beats that but not my up. my isp is testing 50/50 speeds and in a while i hope we have it but who knows how much it will cost. i think i remember some school speed about 60 mb on here but you rarely see those

nah man i live in nyc where Fios 5/30 package is $55 a month which is weird cause everything in nyc cost more. lol

my 2/30 is great but i think there 5/30 will be alot better and more stable for $10 more a month

i clicked on the cablenut and then hold down the ALT key and while holding the alt key press print screen. then open paint and hit control V and save file, then while posting hit additional options and add the file

no prob man glad to help and yes i have tweaks that i change sometimes cause i have 3 connections but here is one of the better ones i use for optimum.

you say you have 1.5 mb download and 256 upload right? now if you are playing a game using close to 100 kb to play and she keeps clicking on websites that will cause it to spike a bit here and there and if she downloads anything it will spike alot with the line you have. try going into a game like always then goto her comp and ping a website to check the pings then download something and ping the website again and you will see the pings jump around alot. you should see if your router has QOS built in so it helps balance out the line better but i dont know if that would help the pings.

ok most of nj is done as of march 8th and it should be getting worked on in about a month but i couldnt get an exact date from them. thats the best awnser i got from anyone and the site says its in the process of being upgraded.

also try this test and see what you get. www.speakeasy.net/speedtest and see if that gives you more correct speeds. if it does are you using a firewall cause that might cause the speeds to be wrong on this site.

yes it does cause i have tested it a while ago with van buren cause i was having problems getting full speeds on lan and saw that it changed with different settings. what are you getting on average on lan and what is your cablenut settings?

i have no idea why it would say that except its cached but the server is on speakeasy's backbone so its very fast. what do you get to the other mirrors? van you connection is sick for the $$$ and even fios is not worthy
