even if you have windows installed just put the cd in and restart and knoppix loads from the cd and works like that and doesnt affect your windows. its cool to mess with

i used windows and firefox and my speeds were crap and i wanted to test linux out a little so i got knoppix and it runs off the cd so i popped it in and i can browse alot faster now and get good speeds. the speeds i got before were about 2 mb download on windows. :::.. my friend has a case that is a like a freezer but they dont sell them anymore. i forgot the name but it was about $700 for just the case
