yes i do get that fast to a nice amount of sites but i'd say more than 75% of the sites cant do over 15 mb and that 30 mb download is not worth it cause of that but the reason i have it is because its $45 a month here and who wouldnt get it for that price. this is also the reason fios is upgrading the speed and lower prices in nyc is because of my cable isp ( optimum Online ). btw here is a graph of me downloading over 1.3 gigs in about 6 minutes at almost full speed.

well put it this way, if you know what your doing nothing will ever get in if you dont want it to but even a hardware firewall can be bad if you dont know what your doing. right? so it goes both ways but both can be affective or not.

if you have it setup right the software can be just as good and it doesnt just notify you of outgoing it stops what you want it to. why dont you try sunbelt kerio and i bet you will change your mind.

^^ i have to agree since i use all of those and never get anything ever and my friends pc's that have had a virus and i installed those i got rid of them no prob. i have been using this setup for about 2 years now and before kerio became sunbelt kerio and has to be one of the best setups around.
