please download this file and tell me the speed it does it at cause its 16 mb file and it should be better. http://www.speakeasy.org/~eebobb/16 as for some of your scores it looks like you can get from around 850 kb to 1100kb which seems close to the average for your isp.

what kinda upload you get ?

i am trying to figure out what speeds you get to those sites to get an average of what your speed really is so all those tests to those sites will help you figure it out.

so your average speed to speakeasy's test sites is about 800 to 900 kb right? try a download from here and tell me the Kb/s transfer rate. its a 16 mb file so it should be accurate and its a california test site on speakeasy's backbone. http://www.speakeasy.org/~eebobb/16

do a test on all the www.speakeasy.net/speedtest and tell me what they all say. also where do you live?

the only thing that messed up my tests and made them get stuck was having my TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize to large in cablenut then it would just sit there as a blank page but as i made it smaller the tests finished. did you try the test with no tweaks or programs yet and see if it works?

the links work fine for me but if they give you a problem then just download the 2992 file and halfway through th test stop it and change the 2992 in the browser to 5983 or 12160 and it should work since those links dont work

the most it used for me was 41.1 Kb/s

yea its on now this thing eats speed if you put up the resolution cause i had it upto like 180 Kb/s
