i have the 30/2 from optimum and its you dont see 30 mb anywhere except optimum onlines site which is gay and i know the sites can handle it cause they do my friends fios at 29 to 31 mb every time but mine is all over and my fastest speeds to here is in my sig below which sucks for 30 mb. i would advise you to get fios instead of optimum if it is available cause the speed optimum online has isnt very stable at all especally out of state or across the country. you will lose more than half of your speed to a west coast server and even with my 30 mb down i will be lucky to get 7 or 8 to a west coast server and my 6 mb dsl gets the same speeds to ny and seattle which tells you how bad optimum is if they lose over 22 mb to seattle. just my 2 cents but stay away from them and get fios.

and people wonder why other people bomb things is because of crap like this and if it happened to me i would find out where it is and blow the place up and i am dead serious about that. thats major BS and i hope they get bombed

i use my 30 mb downloads all the time and i get over 4,400 kB/s on alot of sites so yes its worth it if ya can pay it.

if thats the verizon 30/5 package the cheapest i saw it ever offered is in nyc and that is $55 a month so if you can show us a link for it being 30 that would be good

my isp also uses level 3 and i see nothing wrong with it for me with both of my lines that use it. my other line passes through it to and its fine. it would cost over $65,000 cause i already did this a while ago but i dont remember exactly what was in there but it had about 42 gigs of ram and quad processors and a bunch of 15,000 rpm HD's in there.

i think my friend has that and i'm gonna ask him to borrow it to see what it gets.

i cant open any of those links there and i dont know why. edit i cant see them on my adsl but i can on my sdsl so yea thats weird but i see them now.

what kinda speed you get from them cause mine slows to about half of what i get connected directly to the modem. also what isp do you have and what are your advertised speeds?
