i'll try k-melon tonight when i get home. i also downloaded over 13 gig from my ftp already plus whatever other people downloaded so it has to be over 15 gigs already. i had a bunch of small files like 4, 8, 16, 64 and 512 in there but i figured 512 would be most accurate and show the true speed of it.

i have no idea if there is a limit but i guess i'll find out soon hahaha

i wish that was mine but thats the ftp site i get with my package and i can make it a website but i am gonna try to make it a mirror for here instead. this thread was read alot so i wonder how many people are downloading on it cause my speed is stable as hell to it still.

cool everyone keep downloading it this might be an accurate mirror if i can get it to work when cable helps me out cause its on speakeasy's backbone and they have a big network around the US so it should be fast with cable's setup. i want a few 30 mb connections on this :haha: i'm getting 1752 kB/s on cable and 651 kB/s with dsl for just me and anyone else who is downloading.

thats my free ftp site from one of my isp's and i want to murder the bandwidth today and by alot of people downloading on it at once i'll be able to see what its got. some people got 14 mb from it so far. i am dling at 661kB/s with my 6 mb line

they might do that but have slower speeds and either way they need more.

yea i know but its faster speeds than what comcast is doing right.

fios is on long island where i am but just about 1/2 mile too far and as soon as i can get it i will but for now i have optimum online cable with the 2/30 package. when comcast upgrades they will have more than most other cable isp's around and already do in alot of area's but a select few like cox, adelphia and also road runner have upgraded in some area's to compete with fios.

they need to go way higher than that cause most cable isp's have gone higher than they are planning to upgrade to already.

some of the other ones i dont have a problem with cause its a little more than i pay now for all 3 of my isp's but what your saying is way more than that. its also why the prices arent there for the really big ones which is over 100,000 a month easy :shock:
