install fasterfox plugin and see what happens to your speeds. also do you have the newest firefox(1.5) cause i gained 50 kb from that alone and it was already faster than IE for me

i dont feel like doing this right now but i gues i will when i'm in the mood. looked at the setup tho and got the programs and book marked the site so in time it will be up.

i hit the speeds great speeds all day long and the upload is always at 1.8 to 1.9 mb so i cant complain. i complained alot and they replaced everything from the modem to all the wiring in my house and all is good. i wanted close to my speeds and now i got it

firefox is owning it up and now that the other thread points out a exploit in win sp2 ie might be easier to get the viruses so firefox will win. :cool:

every business wants to make money but i'm sure comcast wants to upgrade but its hard to do that to that many customers. you have any idea how much an upgrade has to cost man? it has to be soo much its not funny i cant imagine how much it is but hopefully i hit 100 mb before i die lol

i have the surfboard 5120 modem and that made my speeds go up from the 5100 but i have a different cable isp

wow i use firefox and dont download nythig ithink might be bad. i hope my firewall holds up because it stopped everything else for months and i keep everything up to date. i think i am pretty safe cause i'm not a average user and tay on top
