i have boost and i get 23 to 28 mb all the time and always get atleast 1700 upload if not more.

bump this up for everyone else that didnt see it so they can download it and help me test the speeds of this server and connection. i my self have downloaded over 25 gigs from it this month and dont know if there is a limit for it and i dont pay so i wonder how much is too much when its free. with everyone else it has to be over 35 to 40 gigs this month so everyone download this test file to see what speeds you get cause i wanna have some idea what it can do. thanks to everone that already did that anyone with a really fast connection 30 + mb from work or school can you post the speeds you get in here cause i would like to know what it can do with some serious speed on it at once. i am uploading 1 mb, 4 mb, 8 mb, 16 mb and 64 mb tests for slower connections and there is already a 512 mb test. the site i want tested is http://www.speakeasy.org/~eebobb/ and the files are from ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/ which is one of my internet companies. hopefully this can be a new mirror for this site soon.

you can set it up to use any port you want and it should work in dmz fine cause i have used it on my own comp server and client but i now have a free one hosted my my internet company so i no longer need to host it. even if you pay for it its really cheap per month only a few dollars for a nice amount of people.

i dont know how it would mess up cause its not even a speed test yet and its a download so it should be accurate so i dont know but i was getting over 3,200kB/s and i have a 30 mb line and live across the country so this is pretty close for me. the server is located on the same POP as the seattle speakeasy speed test so it should be fast and accurate. as far as i know there is no bandwidth cap but might be after what i do with it. lol we'll see but it will be used 1 way or another

in ny verizon fios is $55 for the 30 down and 5 up package but in other states its more lol. i bet its cause they have to compete with optimum's 2/30 package

if people mess with me they get dos attacked by all 3 of my connections and a few of my neighbors wireless connections so i can send you atleast 400 mb of packets and they come about 300,000 per second at 16383 packet size i also do this to cheaters on halo 2 :haha:

try a few tests and then try to tweak it out a little with cablenut and maybe we can stable it out a bit and figure out what it can do. whats your isp and what is the advertised speeds you pay for?
