do u any chance have ur puter wireless??? because if u do, u might could be haveing a packet loss are just a bad wireless conn. also with that big of of a variance in speed, that could also cause some lag, I had a similar problem, could game during the day and was fine and at night couldnt game at all because my ping would get me kicked, so i started tracing my pings to my server that i played on and took that to my ISP and told them here was my problem( im in MS and problem was in Texas)

i would look at the PS, i had a box that was on and when i got home it was off, so i tried to turn it on and nothing, so i unplugged the cord from the box for about 10 seconds and then pluged it back in and the power light came on for about a sec and then back off, changed out PS and back on it came and running fine everysince. Thats where i would look first, its cheaper and if it is not it, u will always have a backup PS good luck

well katrina's path went thru New Orleans and then hit the MS coast nad came up thru MS

this is just me, but i would try to shut down norton and try again. I have seen norton cause nothing but problems sometimes.

i know rhis will be a pain in the butt, maybe u should disconnect the router for a few days and see what happens. And about P2P networks, my cable ISP blocks all p2p programs, so there for my speeds suck. something to look into atleast anyway

true in away, most if not all will play -R and alot will play +R but i would go with -R, it is the most common formatt that players use

suscom is a small cable company that is only in a few states, but from what i have been reading on the net and hearing is that comcast already owns 30% of the company and has put in a bid to buy more of it are all of it.

have u tried crossing the wires( like unplug urs from the router and plug into hers and put hers into ur puter) and run the test and see what happens. i dout it would make any difference, but it is a start.
