Ok, I have terminated those trojans and checked all of the processes. They are good. Yet it still is fast in safe mode and slow in normal. Man I'm confused.

I have already scanned in safe mode with Mcafee. Nothing found. Also, I don't have much stuff on my computer yet either, which could be the reason the scan was so quick.

Ok, that scan is done, it says I have no viruses.

Ok, I used that site and I have 2 bad processes, isass.exe ans somehting called SYSTEM. Ok, my internet is acting up for some reason. The connection speed is good but when I am surfing the internet it is very slow. I did everything in those stickies, spyware scan, virus scan, everything. My drivers are updated. So today I decided to scan on safe mode. After scanning, I decided to see how the internet ran on safe mode with networking and it ran perfect. I then restarted it normally and it was slow. It is still fast on safe mode and slow on normal settings and I don't know why. So please help me if you could.

Ok I fixed it. For some reason, the first driver wasn't working or something. Reinstalled it;it's all good now. Thanks guys.

I recently reformatted my computer and for some reason it is running real slow. The actual speeds seem ok- download speed of 547 kb/s and upload of 66 kb/s but it is extremely slow surfing the internet. I am running 2 computers off a router and the other one runs fine. It was fast before, fast at my friends house(Where we reformatted it), but it is slow now. My setup(Router, modem etc) has not changed at all. Oh and my isp is cox.net
