Alright, if I get any more hax I'm seriously going to be stumpped, lol Should be cool. The forum is still light a couple of features that TMN normally has but as soon as I get a chance over the next few days I'll be restoring these tiny things... most of you will notice nothing missing

testmy.net has been compromised and for over the past week I've been having headaches dealing with these stupid hackers that have nothing better to do than mess with an honest American guy who's trying to run a free service that helps people get important information... they are truly complete low life losers who most likely live in their parents basement (sorry, no offense meant toward people who live in their parents basements you're not the same as these punks). Anyway, even though I'm ridiculously tired right now and on vacation I'm now forced to tear shit down and make a complete fresh install of everyting to make sure I have no insecure permissions or scripts. So please bear with me tonight, there may be portions of the site that will go offline intermittently. And a note to the punk ass warez group that's doing this shit, I have lots of logs and I do plan on using them to make sure you pay for the time you have wasted me and my users. You are truly pieces of shit and I seriously hope you rot in hell... Sorry for the language to anyone that's sensitive to stuff like that but as you can imagine I'm not in the best mood.

I've cleaned the hack up... and I'm about 99% sure the server is nice and locked up. man, these guys need to just leave me alone! damn headaches!

yeah... sorry about this guys, fuckin' stupid ass hackers have been giving me trouble all week. They went over the line this time. sorry about the pop-ups -- just know that they DIDN'T come from testmy.net, they came from pricks that hacked me. I'm working on it. -D

It's because you have your browser set to pump up the font size. It's okay though, I made the nessisary change to make sure that even if you have that turned up it won't distort the upper rigth side there --- go to the front page and put your text size to largest... it should look okay -- you may need to clear cache or refresh the page a few times to make sure you have the newest copy of my theme files.

there.... NOW it works. God that was a headache, the damn top menu wouldn't shrink for me, lol. It's nice and small now enabling people to see much more content with less space. Less scrolling is a good thing

Thank you.. I just finished my work actually so you didn't see all the changes. But I basically moved the 'login' and 'member stats' up top and shrunk the top menu in the forum view. I just gives a little more space on the page for content. I hope you guys like it

I used to write it as TestMy.net -- but the past few years I've written it as testmy.net .. even if I start a sentance with 'testmy.net' I still leave it lowercase. I always find myself going back and making stuff lowercase when I'm using a program that trys to 'fix' it for me -- drives me nuts Good to know that almost everyone else agrees with me that it looks better all lowercase why is one question "testmy.net No caps" and another "testmy.net" -- am I missing something or am I correct in thinking that IT'S THE SAME THING!! haha -D

i've got everything back up. We were hit with a little web based attack. I'm be working tonight to make sure these punks won't be able to mess with us anymore. The bigger a site get.. the more people want to mess with it. I'm suprised we went this long without another attack, it has to be a record for testmy.net (made it a couple of months this time).. haha. Although, people still try to hack my SSH at least 100 times a day (no joke), little do they know they're playing in the wrong port, bah ha ha. Anyway.. sorry all you TMN fiends. I watched this show about this savant named Daniel Tammet. He was simply amazing. He can do complex math equations in his head in seconds, he recited pi to the 22,500th place over 5 hours with 6 people checking his answer... and he knows 9 languages (actually 10 now)... he says he can learn any language in only one week. In the show, as a challenge they ask him to learn Icelandic and he not only learned the language he learned it well enough for the locals to say that he had very good grammar. The guy is amazing. His abilities were brought on by a seizure when he was a little boy and he's been able to solve incredible mathematical equations and memorize immense amounts of information in his head since he was only four. The way he describes how he solves the problems is wierd, he visualizes numbers as objects and problems as a landscape... he says that he doesn't even have to think about the problems his mind just solves the problem instantly. He surpassed the calculators answers on almost all of the math problems the researchers gave him... and when they did the equasions on a computer he also surpassed the answer the computer gave. I truly believe that we all posses the ability to do these things but just don't know how to. ... I hope in my lifetime we find out how to tap into this amazing resource. Best mouse in the world! I love mine too... Yea, I just pop mine on the charger every couple days for an hour or so and it's good to go. Cool thing is that if it runs out you can put it on the charger for like 10 seconds and get at least 5 minutes out of it... awesome mouse, works on EVERY surface without a problem. Optical was good.. but lasers are the best.
