  1. man VanBuren why don't you just slap me in the face... Why don't you use my upload test... it's now more accurate than it's ever been... I finally figured out what was wrong with it I had a self admitted problem with that test FOREVER, but now it's near perfection ~~ re-try mine FOO! damn toast --- look lemme show you why my speed test is better -- the PROOF! First an FTP upload shows my connection to be 62.47 KB/s or 511.75 Kbps 2nd Toast Test seems to think my connection is 51.15 KB/s or 419 Kbps DSLReports (a respectable speed test) shows 60.55 KB/s or 496 Kbps and good ol testmy.net almost completely nails it on the head at 61 Kbps or 498 Kbps Validation Link :: https://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=KSJI9GN3L Bottom Line : Toast is off by 92.75 Kbps or 11.32 KB/s !!!! (ouch) DSLReports is off by 15.75 Kbps or 1.92 KB/s (nice) TestMy.net is off by 13.75 Kbps or 1.68 KB/s (nice) No speed test is 100% accurate all the time, but I think I have come very close to perfection (DSL reports has also) -- where would you test? - Damon

  13. True dat.... you'd have to be a tard to run even a light http server on his current windows98 --- But man, if you got windows 98 now you may want to just upgrade to windows 2000 -- windows XP might be too much for your box ~ what kind of CPU and hardware do you have now.
  14. They are still here, but if they aren't showing for you it's because Google doesn't have any ads to show you right now (with m advertiser some people may see ads, while others won't because of geographics) But recently I implemented collapsing ads, so that when there are no ads for them to show, instead of showing a public service ad, or a blank box it will now collapse the ads to nothing

  16. Very true make sure all firewalls are down --- also make sure you have a static IP By the way, I hope I have this done soon. I will be adding a feature that will log your results under a username -- the username you have in the forum -- i have to tie some database stuff together though, and this isn't an easy task... but it is coming.
  17. HINT : If you fill out that link addition form, click submit and click back --- all of your info should still be in the form, just change the fields needed to add another site and your done... a little quicker that way. -- This is one of the few scripts on this site that I did not author, so of course it's not as user friendly as I would like That's wierd that test logging wouldn't be working for you, this is a first. Could you please elaborate on that for me... I was able to pull two test scores from your IP --- what kind of connection do you have? If your IP changes often by the way (for now anyway) test logging won't work for you. Let me know if this helps any of your questions... and thank you for the links.
