Okay.. I am waiting for a DVD to burn... so I am going to write an over elaborite answer to this... I already have the technology built into my test to do that without having to branch off into a completely new server. Heck, I can do an east coast, west coast, German, Korean, Canadian, French, Asian etc. etc. servers if I wanted to. I just need reliable companies or individuals to host the files for me... because I am not going to pay for off shore servers ~~~~ I personally (if I was not in the USA) would rather test off a US server, because lets face it... most of the sites you visit are going to be hosted in the US. I would rather know what speed I'm going to get on those servers than know what speed I would get if I grabbed a file from a server down the street... it is a more realistic number... it does not look as pretty on paper but at least your not lying to yourself ---- But for the people that want to see want to see their line maxed out, to see if they are indeed getting what they are paying for I would be more than happy to add a section for additional servers... but again, I need servers. Anyone that would be willing would be getting exposure to their site in return for the bandwidth taken... you can't pay for that kind of advertising... especially if you figure that the people that are going to be pulling the files from that server are doing so because they either live in that area or close to that area... so they may be interested in that affiliate sites content. If anyone out there has a fast server located in Europe that would like some publicity in exchange for some bandwidth... I will have no problem adding the test to the site, I just need someone to upload a few files to their server... tell me the location and that's it... I will even make the test pages branded with that host sites logo (header and footer. It is though key that the server be fast and on a good backbone ~~ and of course a good idea that the server have and adequate data transfer allowance because hosting bandwidth tests... well take a lot of bandwidth (though I am sure that a Europe server would not need even close to the transfer needed to host my US version) But the ability to easily do this is already built into my exsisting scripts via my custom testing --- http://www.testmy.net/gen.html Please nobody come at my with an offer to host a file on a free host... or a slow server, you will just be wasting my time, only the best for my users I could even go the extra step and make it so that depending upon where the user testing is from I can have the test automatically forward the user to the server closest to them. are most of the servers you play on in the US? I am getting a better ping from you now... I don't think it was ZA or your firewall.. it might have been that I woke up your computer -- I am getting about 215 ping now to you... I am in Phoenix AZ which is about 1050 Miles (1690 kilometers) from my house (50ms electronic time ) and you are getting 160 ms to my server ~ I am getting 50 ms to my server so your ping to me is about 210-215 ~~ exactly what I am getting to you right now ~~~ your ping seems good enough to play even on a Westcoast US server ~~ But for online gaming I would try (if you have the option) to stick with east coast servers which should have a ping of about 120 to you if they are good ~ good luck man, hope your connection clears up, have you bitched to your ISP yet? - Damon

Smart man... Well I would think you would be fine... The game should only be requesting about 5KB/sec of your upload connection... Your average download is 1.5 Mbps and ya got about 95 Kbps upload -- I would think you would be fine. Post your ping to testmy.netand your location -- it looks to me like you have a deepser problem, I just pinged your IP from my house and got 690ms MAX, 212ms MIN, and 331ms AVG --- which is HORRIBLE go to START>RUN>type "COMMAND" enter! > type "ping testmy.net" enter! let me know man --- I get 50ms to testmy.net by the way. If you are on a shard connection try connecting without the router ~~~ post those pings and scores for me.

I see you have got a score of 4402 before... but not 4309 ~~~ before testing make sure you have all firewalls down and make sure you are not testing VIA one of my affiliates. Post a score that has an authentication code that works

Are you hosting the game..... because with upload stats like that I strongly reccomend not hosting. Most online games you ssould be fine though... what game are you playing?
