Well if zone alarm isn't blocking the referer then there is no problem ~~~ otherwise you will still get results.. just no AUTH code

I've seen you get 5 Mbps before... or close... could be untrue but I doubt it with the size of the test you did. - Damon

Very nice indeed.. going to get much better when the entire line up in converted to digital... we can't use the best compression ratio yet because analog is taking up a lot of the bandwidth needed (analog takes up more bandwith than digital by the way... I am the first to admit that Direct TV and Dish do have a better picture than cable ~~~ but I would still rather have cable (there are many reasons why) ~~~ when Cox gets to 100% digital nobody will be able to compete

DVR is Digital Video Recorder A product like PVR boxes (Personal Video Recorder) such as TiVO See DVR here >> http://www.cox.com/Phoenix/DigitalTV/dvr/ See TiVO here >> http://www.tivo.com/ - Damon

Cox in Phoenix had 'DVR' which is a PVR box that needs no phone line... it's friggen PiMP! As for a good video service... I havn't found any at the quality that I consider watchable... if anyone finds any service like that... at the very very least 300 Kbps ~~ at the least 600 Kbps quaility ... and also has a bunch of cool crap.. let me know. - Damon

well DLINK is lame In my opinion DLINK is the worst product on the planet... I remember back in like 1994 I got a DLINK 28.8 modem... I used it for 4 hours and the phone jack port melted... and even though there was a mail in rebate that made the card nearly free (I think I paid like $69 and it had a $50 rebate)..... I spent $100 on a US Robotics (that had no rebate)... from then on I have been 100% about quality of a product, never a bargin shopper. - Damon's little 'DLINK almost caught his house on fire, so he hates them for ever' story!

Oh hexadecial AKA 'HEX'... It's all mathematics brotha! That is number representation using the digits 0-9, with their usual meaning, plus the letters A-F (or a-f) to represent hexadecimal digits with values of (decimal) 10 to 15. The right-most digit counts ones, the next counts multiples of 16, then 16^2 = 256, etc. For example, hexadecimal BEAD is decimal 48813: digit weight value B = 11 16^3 = 4096 11*4096 = 45056 E = 14 16^2 = 256 14* 256 = 3584 A = 10 16^1 = 16 10* 16 = 160 D = 13 16^0 = 1 13* 1 = 13 ----- BEAD = 48813 There are many conventions for distinguishing hexadecimal numbers from decimal or other bases in programs. In {C} for example, the prefix "0x" is used, e.g. 0x694A11. If you need conversion go to start>run> "calc" > view > scientific ... then there will be a HEX button on your windows calculator Math is a bitch

well yea, if IRC is running in the tray and serving to people.. that is taking up your bandwidth bro. It will definitly be slower Even if only your upload is being effected through IRC, your download will be effected everywhere else because upload effects how fast requests can be made, therefor effecting your download.
