  1. Very good speeds. 93% for download and 99% for up. Congrats!
  2. What is your MTU value? Do this test and post your results. https://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php
  3. Yes. When using both FasterFox and FireTune at the same time, I find the best combination to set them is FasterFox - Optimized FireTune - Fast computer with Fast connection
  4. After you have load the ccs file, please retest your down and up speeds using the LARGEST file of 2992 kB in www.testmy.net.
  5. You do not need to uninstall FireFox. Just reinstall an exisitng version or new one, bookmarks will remain.
  6. You can install the NoScript extension and choose "forbid", 'temporarily allow' or "permanently allow" any website you surf into, to display scripts. This will correct your problems. Oohh...I heard of much problem in getting rid of Google Web Accelerator. Last I heard, you have to do a search through your registry to rid any references to it. Using 'uninstall' is not enough.
  7. Did you install the NoScript extension? Could be your security setting on java and javascript. https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=722&application=firefox
  8. Did you install this patcher yet? http://www.lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=tools&PHPSESSID=3073cb03d1c950fd2de71f7529154fa2

  10. Try testing with the largest file as it will be more accurate.
  11. This means your download speed is about 1100 Kbps. It is now high traffic period and a fall in speed is expected. Have you resolved your latency problem? I have sent a private message to your box. Take a look.
  12. What speeds did you subscribed to? Carry out the following test and post the results, including the last 2 paragraphs of "More Details" of the second link: https://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php http://nitro.ucsc.edu/
  13. LOL...Always test with the largest file 2992 Kb for accuracy. Test both download and upload, since you want to tweak both values. You were already at 90.07% before tweaking. We were try to see if you can get a little more. Your upload speed should be about 115 Kbps.
  14. Hi, When using speedtest, try the largest file 2992 Kb as it will be more accurate.
  15. The stalling is most probably due to excessive packet losses. Subsequent testing may have used caching from your browser and thus no stalling. Try this link and check download speed at 33-40% progress. You have to turn off your download accelerator software, if any: http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/6/A/E6A04295-D2A8-40D0-A0C5-241BFECD095E/W2KSP4_EN.EXE
  16. You need to download and install the Cablenut Adjuster program from www.cablenut.com to open and save to registry any ccs files listed in this forum. No, tweaking your computer will not degrade your computer's performance. After tweaking, you may not notice much difference when surfing international sites due to your country's limited international gateway bandwidth. But you should see a faster speed when surfing sites in your country. When the international gateway increases bandwidth, you will have a better speed to international sites.
  17. When I do a trace route to your test site, I was not able to reach it. The furtherest I can get to is Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company. What is surprising is that I had to connect to Japan before getting to the Phillipines. The latency is horrible - max 748 ms. This means your country has only one international gateway provider, a government monopoly (like in Thailand) and all ISPs have to connect through it, resulting in a huge traffic jam, and thus very high latency. 18. No, I am based in Bangkok. But I have tried to test at your link and got a worse result - 24 Kbps...and my bandwidth is 1024/512 Kbps...LOL I suspect your ISP is very over subscribed - selling lines to too many people and not increasing their capacity. So each of you get a smaller and smaller bandwidth. To check the throughput your ISP assign to you, carry out this network diagnostic test: http://nitro.ucsc.edu/ Useful info is reported in the "Statistics" section and the last 2 paragraphs of "More Details" section. Post the results and I can comment on them.
