Well.. I have seen alot of people post tracerts to google.com,. However, Their first ones be anything from 1-5 why are mine soo high? Could this be the problem with my speeds? There is not I can do! The ADSL infrastructure in the UK is so.. Well complex! Nothing customers say will make a change! I am with SkyBB who do there best by giving me a high sync rate, But well.. The ADSL provider, BT - The British Telecom people.. Well.. hmm! Ask Roco! lol

God do I hate UK ADSL technology! My syncs are well higher then your 15-1mb yet I get slower rates! Damn when are BT going to invest in FTTH or even FTTC!

Few things to say to you! YOU MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE BY MOVING TO BT! Your best bet is to try an LLU operator with ADSL2+ (SkyBB) or CableBroadband!

Looks good! But still shite! Best advice I think anyone will be able to give you is; Move to an ADSL2+ ISP on LLU or Cable Broadband is the way forward!

Also your testing with such a small file! Try 2992 or more!

Can you connect directly to the master sockets test socket? Also try http://speedtest.bbmax.co.uk - UK Server I used to be with BT but only ever got 4-5mb now on SkyBB I get 15mb! If you can why not?

Yep sorry thread starter for going OT! But, yep with the 20Mb trials people said that they were getting slow speeds on the torrent ports.. Some said they couldnt get 5mb etc etc! But hopefully they will sort it out, Even tho' their main competition is now from BSkyB, However they do have a wee advantage - its back to Cable vs DSL!

It will be an increase when NTL:Telewest merge with Virgin, As Virgin Media! I hope they do the full 50mb? Anyone know what the upload will be like?

holy smoke! thats some speed guys The max i will ever get on ADSL2+ unless i move is ~16mb I just can wait for VDSL or our cable operators to hurry with the speed increase! 5mb up would be brilliant!
