Well if your computer has just enough preformance to play the game then you might see some lag from your computer. Not your internet connection.

Only one is going to apply. I reccomend the TCP Optimizer.

I guess the question comes down to can you computer play those games?

Lucky, my company would never even think about giving me the old laptop. Somtimes I just wanna But it pays good.

You can play those games online, but you might have a little lag. Other than that you should be good. Yep, I have cable. (Cox Communications).

I'd say thats JUST enough download to play a online game. If you don't mind me asking what is your upload speed? Oh, and what type of games would you be playing?

Welcome to the forum dtwaltus! In TCP Optimizer you can drag the indicator to 384 Kbps and then bubble in optimal settings at the bottom. Once you have done this click apply changes and restart your computer.

heh, I think I broke my work laptop when I used Windex on it. But I have used Windex on my home monitor for atleast two years.

This is really weird but anyways. When I test it stops for a second in the beginning. Well when it doesn't my speeds show! Look at my signature I just got that and no its not cached. I don't know why it does that but when it doesn't my speeds check out fine. If anyone has a solution to this please tell me!!

Well I know nothing about tweaking with cablenut. I think I might just fool around with it and see if I can find a solution.

Uninstall IE 7 under add and remove programs. It puts IE 6 back.

What tweaks do you use?

You guys are lucky to get 12! I never do its 9-11 down and thats about it. Atleast on testmy.
