First off welcome to the forum modenaf1! I would not reccomend you "uncapping" your modem. If you get caught you could be blacklisted. Which means basically you are going to have a hard time finding an ISP that will accept you.

Phew! Thats lets see you said "terabytes" so... 1,2,3,4,5,6 terabytes a month.... that is alot. I probablly dont even download a gig in a month. :haha: Ok I added this up.... 1 terabyte with a 10mb connection would take about 222hours and 13 minutes....2 terabytes with a 10mb connection would take about 444 hours, and 26 minutes.

That's a great download speed. But, you are not going to see consistent speeds, and that is because there new speed boost. You could see a range of 10-20 down.

Seems like comcast doesn't know what to do with there upload.

Have you tweaked? Make sure your computer is running clean. (Virus scans, spyware scans, clear cache, all that good sruff) If nothing improves then call your ISP.

Were you stealing internet from your school?

That is exactly what i'm talking about. In one of my previous posts I said I wouldn't like my speeds being uncapped because there is no definite speed.
