I would also like to say that on my slow (730mhz) I see a big difference between the new progress bar and no progress bar. My computer stays at 100% usage. You said any kind of problem, I got "PC Chips m825g" and I got a strange problem... I have boot up working fine all through DOS, half way through loading windows a blue screen comes up saying STOP, followed by stuff like but not exactly: "0x00000000" "0x0000003004", saying "UNACCESSABLE BOOTUP DEVICE" , after many failed attemps a page displayed showing what .DLL's the computer was accessing. It then stoped and displayed the same blue screen. Ok, the computer reads off the hardrive a while and stops, could this be because old boards cant read large hard-drives? In BIOS, the largest hard-drive option was 100MB, thats MegaByte! Self detect found my 20200MB Hard Drive lol. Or is is something wrong with my eMechines hardrive? If you look up this kind of motherboard you will find many problems.

On another note, My upload times are recorded is the database under the download catagory. Thus today I appear to have download times consistantly 4000bps or 400bps, (which are my upload tests)

I have Norton 2003 running the latest virus definitions. The interesting thing is that all these test happened on the same day but yet there was an hour between the first and last tests of these speeds. I have had this norton running on 2 computers for 2 years and never got something like this. Let me restate that the redicusly high scores were taken on a 730Mhz cpu when I had major lag lasting 10 seconds.

When my 730Mhz computer laged today I got scores off the chart.
