Hi Welcome to Testmy.net forum. Go to the home page scroll down to other resources-click on Tweak Guide/tweak setting- Scroll down to you see CableNut 408.zip,click on it ,downloads & install it. Come back to tweak guide/tweak setting page and download one of VanBurens cable setting -downloads it Than click on it and find the setting closest to your 6000 plan you have and install it or you can scroll to the bottom of the tweak guide/tweak setting page and use the Calculator for XP/2K fill out the form click on computer setting,than click on css file download & install it Reboot than check your speed again.

I do not think it will ever come to the working man town I live in.

Maybe Verizon will bring FIOS to me. That has has a snowball chance in hell of happening. The only towns that have it are in north Jersey & one[you better make a lot of money] town in south jersey.

Comcast= too many people on 1 line. All of my packetloss are in big city.

No my download speed is usually above 8000 And my upload speed is usually at 729/730 I am on the 768/8000 plan. Would like to get my upload speed closer to 768. Web page load fast.

How can I stop the packetloss?

The trace was to testmy.net, I guess that were the servers are?
