  2. hey plat1num and welcome to the forum you dropping packets and thats killing the speed, reboot your modem for 30 seconds and also reboot router and make a new tweaktest, if its still reporting loss, try bypass router and connect pc directly to modem and make a new tweaktest if you still dropping packets, sign up here http://www.dslreports.com/tools and make a line quality test and post result here VanBuren

  4. hey Chris and welcome to the forum Install win XP SP2 if you dont already got it download and unzip the attached file to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry in top left corner you see file, load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubbleclick on the file you unzipped now you have some values in adjuster, click save to registry reboot, also reboot your modem for 30 seconds, and reboot your router good luck VanBuren

  8. you need to find the balance, using as big receive buffer without re transmissions you can try using a file with smaller Recivebuffer eg 2000 256 i attach it, report back how it works VanBuren
  9. giving up already? i havent even begun to help you get speed, there is no tweak that fits all, you need to finetune sometimes ppl that been around here should know that all you need to do is open cablenut and click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry and reboot, then windows default settings is loaded however i modifyed the file abit, and if you like to give it a shot here it is....   20. ill give it a shot when you using XBOX online, it take some bandwidth, how much bandwidth? your bandwidth is limited by your Internet Service Provider If Xbox using almost all your bandwidth upstream, or downstream, then i guess your Green bars will go red beqause your latency increase.   21. you can try disable alot of unwanted Services in XP check this .pdf file, page 4-12 i use SAFE settings and it works great for me VanBuren
