SP2 is great, and i dont think it has more holes then SP1 i think its reversed i suggest to get rid of unwanted services in both SP1 and SP2, then you will have a faster machine, i attach a file describing how thats all i did with SP2 and i pull 9,2 Mbps from Testmy.net all the way from Sweden, with some cablenut tweaks offcourse VanBuren

i wouldnt download it, update your firewall and virus programs and wait for a Microsoft patch VanBuren
-
seems like this will never stop, hackers will always find holes unfortunely but you can minimize it by using latest patches and also a good virus and external firewall. those can update their definitions alot faster then microsoft realease a fix VanBuren

call your ISP Gareh and let them fix your ping to your gateway VanBuren
-
I dont think so
-
here is the problem 1 117 ms 119 ms 118 ms cor01-creekst-bne.telenet.net.au [202.9.32.2] your ping to that gateway suppose to be between 5-15 ms on a fastpath dsl and around 25-40 ms on a interleaved try rebooting your modem for 30 seconds and your router aswell make a new traceroute VanBuren
-
hey again Gareh its probl a routing or spyware issue, the settings in your registry dosent change, follow these steps and post again http://www.testmy.net/topic-2097 VanBuren

Don't know how to tell...anything wrong with this?
VanBuren replied to Indestructable's topic in Make it Faster...
the reason tweaktester suggest other settings i simple, DSLR dont tweak the same way as i do. The tweaktester is great in otherways it provide valid information about your setup and thats what im looking for VanBuren -
hehe not 1337 Kbps but 1337 KB/s = 8 x 1337 = 10696 Kbps VanBuren
