It do matters if you using PPPoE or not PPPoE has a MTU of 1492, win XP has a bug that limit the MTU to 1480 if your not using a router other DSL has 1500 as MTU i made the file from the MTU you had on that tweaktest VanBuren

wait i see a problem, you have a MSS of 1460 and a MTU of 1492 what other tweak programs have you used? download this http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe make sure all settings look like this, MTU should not have any value click save when done open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks + click save to registry and reboot shut off your modem and router for 30 seconds, then run a new tweaktest and post result URL adress again VanBuren

download and install cablenut 4.08 https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 [testmy.net] download the attached DSL PPPoE 256 128.zip file unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner, click file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubbleclick on DSL PPPoE 256 128.ccs file now you have some values set in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot make some speedtests and one tweaktest post result here again VanBuren

hey harleyrider I have no experiance of DW download accelerator, but acceleration programs use to work the way that you connect and use several streams when downloading and the program build the file when all parts is done. here is a good tool for that aswell http://www.stardownloader.com/downloads.php?PHPSESSID=8f4be0935b42ad2a920bc305caa5a7e1 when you installed it, go to options and uncheck, check for updates at start up so you dont need to click no to a update to Pro version that costs money... you can also set how many streams you like to use when downloading VanBuren

the latency should be the worst possible, when you using all your bandwidth a tumb rule is a 150 - 200 ms to your gateway, or your ISP homepage if you cant find your gateway the gatway is the first hop in the traceroute then you need to add the latency to the testserver, so in a case you testing overseas you need to add approx 150 ms VanBuren
