their recommendations is wrong, you should use a MTU of 1492 not 1500 open Dr.TCP, change MTU to 1492 for all adapters also download cablenut 4.08 here https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1013.0 download this file and unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster in top left corner click file, click load custom settings file, browse to the file you unzipped dubbleclick on it and click save to registry now reboot your pc good luck VanBuren

I think high FPS is overrated, with old game engines high fps gave a good adventage cos you could see your opponent faster and so on. I dont think its like that with new games. Most videocards have a minimal refresh rate of 60 Hz and if you get 60fps+ your fine the problems accure when fps is lower then the display refresh in Hz UT2004 for example has by default DisplayRefresh set to 60, so if you know your average fps is above 100 then increase Display Refresh to 100 Hz, that give a smoother game, but i daubt you have very big adventage. Sattelite seems like a chapter of its own all teorys that can be used with other connection types, just dosent seem to work with Sattelite hehe thats why i probl never learn how to setup a proper tweak for em VanBuren -
Im still scratching my head about this How do you connect to internet Kamil? If you use a router pc, then i can understand this but if your using a regular router or connected directly to modem i have no clue.. VanBuren

all i know about signal strength is that on dsl connections with low signal strength (usally far away from CO) has to use Interleaved (error correction) from dslmodem to default gateway to reduce packetloss. that will give you a ping to gateway up to around 30 ms, instead of 5-10 ms, gamers hate that, and it also bring down speed. My isp has Interleaved enabled by default for xdsl, no matter if you need it or not So i tell them to call support and let them check signal strength and if its good, remove Interleved and use Fastpath one guy with vdsl lowered hes ping to firsthop from 30 ms to 1 ms by calling them and use Fastpath Unfortunely alot of ppl dosent know about this and, is stuck with poor pings and slow speed VanBuren -
give me the link to that speedtest so i can see how accurate that is, alot of speedtests is very inaccurate also you need to consider TCP overhead, if its a file you are downloading. its usally around 10 % so 512 Kbps = 512 / 8 = 64 KB/s 64 x 0.9 = 57,6 KB/s = 57,6 x 8 = 460,8 Kbps as maximal downloadspeed over TCP VanBuren
