Unlimited transfer traffic or not is set by your isp, its not limited in the type of connection. Cable connections is half duplex but thats another story. VanBuren

I agree it is possible with compression software, dont think it matters if its first hop or not, the only cap is in your modem. I tested speed on my parents 56k connection against my testserver and i got the same score around 300 kbps. But i use images not textfiles like CA3LE, i also tested against testmy.net and that was accurate showed 45 kbps, but remember thats overseas. 56 k rock !!!! VanBuren

I suggest you stick to Bredbandsbolagets server, or Song Networks, IP performance, or Telia, i think those should have the best routing to you. All these servers probl can handle 100 Mbps but the routing is diffrent. Usally TCP is abit slower, you need to shake hands after each packet is sent and that can slow down transferspeed. UDP dont want to shake hands, it just keep sending no matter if the packet is lost. Thats why you need to tweak TCP settings to get full speed. VanBuren

thats sweet speed you can also try the TCP test, just fill in the amount of tata to transfer ( 30000000 ) 30 MB use send or recive, full duplex test only work with UDP. VanBuren

Nice just just add a 0 more to the Databitrate in UDP. that Databitrate is 10 Mbps, you should use 100 Mbps VanBuren

try a lower RWIN, miltiple with your MSS. with MSS 1460 i suggest these values 64240 set Tcp13230pts to 0 or 128480 set Tcp13230pts to 1 you probl get packetloss, and when you do on that high RWIN you have you will loose alot of speed. Try this it might help VanBuren
