  1. call your ISP and let them check your modem signals and ask them why you have a first hop ping of 80 ms VanBuren
  2. like FallowEarth said, shut off your modem, router and pc, leave modem off for atleast 30 seconds and make a new linequality test your first hop ping is above 80 ms and it shuld be tops around 30 ms if your on interleaved mode and around 1-10 ms if your on fastpath VanBuren

  10. dern nice speed guys, the server is probl tweaked for high ping transfers, but i guess my 350 ms is too much for it to handle my route goes via US and from that to that server so i add approx 120 ms from eastcoast VanBuren

  16. huh? what settings? what speed did you get on the mirrors? it might be a problem on the route, then no tweaks will give you your capped speed.. make a linequalitytest at www.dslreports.com also make a pathping start-run-cmd pathping testmy.net VanBuren

  18. ok test these files open TCP Optimizer, click file, restore windows default settings, clik ok and do not reboot now click on one of the attached files and click save to registry and reboot test speed, now test the other file, just click on it and click save to registry and reboot again test speed again and compare VanBuren
  19. hey destructionfever well you need to choose, if your going to use TCP optimizer or Cablenut, if you mix them, the speed can suffer try this first open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry now open TCP optimizer, set connection speed to 6000 and click Optimal settings now click apply and reboot your PC try speed again VanBuren

  24. hey skribble and welcome to the forum here is the problem 1 2 ms 1 ms 1 ms dslmodem.domain.actdsltmp [192.168.0.1] 2 57 ms 41 ms 41 ms nlsngabas01-lo0-secondary1.network.tds.net [69.2.1.136.1] your ISP using Interleave error correction, that adds a latency to your gateway of 30 ms + in your case 40 ms call your ISP and ask them if they can disable interleaved mode and switch you to fastpath let them check your modemsignals, if they are fine it should not be a problem VanBuren
