  5. it passed but the ping is very unstable, try this again at off peak hours, eg early morning or late night, then you can see if the ping gets more stable and also see if the 2% loss against your adress and some other nodes dissapear. VanBuren

  10. hey dexters lab and welcome to the forum i assume you ran the tweaktest at http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks that test ask you for Service: Cable for you Speed (advertised) kbit/s: 4000 or 6000 for you, depends on what package your paying for Operating System: win XP, win 98 etc...   12. you can try a 3000 256 or 2000 256 those files has a smaller RWIN and might help if you have loss on the route VanBuren

  17. hey loki679 and welcome to the forum download and install cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download and install Dr.Tcp http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe open Dr.Tcp make sure all fields is blank, if you see any value in any field, use delete and erase them, set all other options as Default now click save and exit open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry now reboot your PC and if you have a router, bypass it and connect your PC direct to modem via ethernet make a speed and tweaktest http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks when you get result from tweaktest, copy whole URL adress and paste it here VanBuren

  19. i daubt the problem is the settings, try diffrent cablenut files and compare VanBuren
  20. your RWIN is in range for 250 Kbps but not for 250 KB/s for 250 KB/s you should use a RWIN of 61320 VanBuren

  23. same issue both with Firefox and IE? what settings did you use to have on 5 Mbps package? VanBuren
  24. if you have a 3 Mbps cap you should be able to go even faster make a new tweaktest VanBuren
  25. keep these settings and see if you can get 987 Kbps or more when its less traffic, if you dont go faster just open Dr.TCP and erase that TCP receivewindow and click save and exit reboot VanBuren
