Yes, I built it.

I used ClockGen. Be sure to read the tutorial on that page before you use it. ClockGen doesn't have options for ram divider, ram voltage, or CPU voltage, and I don't think my BIOS has those options either. I'll look for software that'll do that. My cooler is a bit better than stock (had to go out and buy one, processor was OEM).
-
I would, but my BIOS doesn't have overclocking options, and I'm having to do a software overclock. For some reason, when I try to increase the FSB from 218 to 220 MHz, it becomes unstable.

Hold your mouse pointer directly in the center while all the numbers pop out and you'll automatically get at least the first 3.

I didn't know ANY game had a netcode that good. Seriously, it can handle 1000+ ping? That's amazing! In Halo PC if you have just 200 ping you have to lead your shots 5 miles.

First attempt was 68, didn't know how to play. Second attempt, 42. EDIT: Eighth attempt, 28 sec. Guess I've been playing too many FPS's. I'm finished.

Ok, I guess it's just a problem with PCmark04, because that program shows the L2 Cache. Thanks for the help. Thanks, tommie. I just overclocked it from 2.4 to 2.6 GHz today, as you can see in the picture. I'm not going to go any farther than that, I don't want to damage it.
-
Well, I have an AMD Atholon 64 4000+, and it's supposed to have an 1MB L2 cache, but PCmark04 (free version) only shows the 128 KB L1 cache. Is this a problem with my processor, PCmark, or neither?

How the heck do you live with it being 81 in your house? That's hot! It's currently 62 in my house!

One of the weirdest things you will ever see.

1280x1024 Just kidding of course. 1. Stop being lazy. -
Hmmm, I guess I need a third opinion on this one. Anyone?
-
Sorry, I'm a noob, but could you explain to me why that one is better?
-
Ok, how's this for a power supply?
-
Ok, I got some more money for Christmas, so I can get even better parts. I need you guys to help me make some decisions. Processor - This one or this one? Already got memory picked out. Video card - This one, this one, or this one? Power supply - Will this one still suffice? Motherboard - This one or this one?
-
Well, apparently there was something wrong with server 1 earlier today, so try main server 1 again and see how it does.
-
Here is probably your best bet for AGP in that price range: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130051 I'm a noob as well, so I may be wrong. And that cheap card is going to be bad for your kind of games.
-
Wow, that's an amazing connection you have there! *drools* Did you try both of the main testmy.net servers?
-
Um, wow. I'm not sure what I just saw. I think I need therapy.
-
Ok, that will work with all the other parts I'm getting right?
-
You guys are 100% sure this is all going to work fine right? Newegg charges 15% for restocking. I'm about to order it once I confirm you guys are 100% sure it'll work fine. And yet again, thanks.
-
Yeah, that's what I meant. And those 10 fans are $1.19 a piece if w/ no shipping if you buy 10 of them, and all the reviews say they're amazing for the price. How could you go wrong?
-
Well, if he says he works for Comcast, I believe him. Sure, I'm still a bit skeptical, mostly because of powerboost and 768 upload, but I believe him for now. What kind of uploads are they planning on offering with that 30 Mbps package when they release it to the public? 896 Kbps?
-
You mean don't get the 10 fans? You sure it won't get to hot?
