  1. and oh yeah, last monday i was able to pass the 700 benchmark... but was not able to save the score huhuhu no proof
  2. yes its true. i tried to use various cablenut configs and the speed varies. gourame's config may not work with your pc, but might work for others. my tip is, you can set the slider between 384 kbps up to 3000 kbps. when saving your config, rename it to settings 1, 2, 3 and so on. use each config setting, take note which one gave you the highest speed. but if you're curious enough to see what will happen, then slide it to more than 3thou. "Most of the time, inventions are accidental", u know what i mean?
  3. yeah you're right gourame. i was wrong when i thought "two heads are better than one". one head was not functioning well for my PC and that head was TCP Optimizer. and oh yes, i know you're a big CableNut fan it works for me too
  4. after a few days of using both CableNut and TCP Optimizer I finally went away with the latter. It seems that my speed was fluctuating if using both. so now with CableNut alone, i got this score:
  5. the test above is with speednet. testmy.net is telling me otherwise. here's my score:
  6. i had a little problem with cFosSpeed lately becoz of some bugs. i uninstalled it and used a combination of cablenut and TCP optimizer: here's what i got: a big increase in upspeed but the downspeed decreased by half!
  7. hi there i'm new in this forum. id like to know if my connection is a OK already? i'm a SmartBro P999 subscriber w/ an advertised max speed of 384 kbps. here's my score: how do you see it
  8. somehow SmartBro seems so kind to me for now. here's my down speed: its 4:45 am MLA time. and at this early few people are using the internet in PI, that's the reason why the speed is slightly faster, right?.
  9. As always, SmartBro's service isn't consistent.. duh... as long as i don't drop below 400 its fine here's my score for the hour...
  10. I will be monitoring my down speed the whole day today to make sure which time of the day the speed is highest and slowest. I'm a SmartBro Plan 999 subscriber. So far my speed is as follows: this is 1:00pm MLA time. Kanina at about 7 am, i got 605 Kbps or 74 KB/s. so bumaba nga slightly pero i think ok pa naman at this time of the day. no more tweaking for me muna. i'll observe this for a week, then i will post how I did the tweaking.
  11. ok thanks for the reply jun101. i'll be having a round the clock checking of speed variations against time of the day. for the meantime here's my speed at this time of the day
  12. :grin2:hey guys. after deleting my browsing history and clearing my dns cache here's what i got. im a smartbro 999 subscriber, do u think this down speed is a OK?
  13. hello there! do u think my down speed is a OK already? I'm using IE7, will it be better if i use Firefox? & what Firefox version could be best?
  14. the tweaks helped me a lot. before i used to have around 220 kbps for downloading now look below! you guys are great!
