Cox offers different kinds of packages in different areas. Like here in Arizona the Premier Package is 9Mbps/1Mbps and in North Virginia it is 15Mbps/2Mbps. I just depends in were you live.

FIOS is better.No shared connection, low latecy, and its Fiber Optics going throught your house.
It looks like your connection was better without the tweaks.
Some computers just need to be tweaked. Because when I had the 5Mbps/768kbps connection I would always do a speed test and get 3Mbps download but when I tweaked it I was getting 5.5Mbps download.
Okay... . Should read more about Cable Modems, thats all im going to say.

It might, but look how long they are taking. Cox responded quick like if they were saying, "Bring it, you have no chance FIOS.!". Adelphia/Comcast were like......................
