  1. Didn't use to do that when I had my Scientific Atlanta Modem but now that I have a Motorola Surfboard SB5120 it does it.

  7. No you don't need their phone service but if you don't have it the price for their Internet Service is more expensive.

  16. Well.... you go were it say's, "Download Test" and click on SmartTest and will be testing your download speed.
  17. Alright guys once again im having issues with my Internet Connection, but is not the download giving me issues it is the upload. I had a Cox tech come to my house which he told me it was my Scientific Atlanta modem that was fluctuating my speeds so he changed it for the same brand. When he activated it like 5min minutes later it burned out so he changed it for a Motorola Surfboard SB5120 which helped my download but my upload just got worser. Now that I tracert websites on the 2 one it hits spikes 3 times in what ever website i use. But what gets me more confused that I have a great signal to my modem.
