i would go with that card over the other one because of the faster ram.

its a good card. the only down fall is the 128bit memory. I would also add more ram.

are you sure its not 5mbps down not up. I dont remember RR having a 5mb upload.

yes run try it in safe mode. if it does not do it in safemode then that means its something installed on your computer, if it does then eather the scrren saver files are messed up or its a hardware issue.

but DSL can only go 18,500 feet before they have to put in a remote DSLAM (very expensive) cable has really no distance limit so they dont have to put in a CMTS every 20,000 feet.

DSL does try the hardest but cable would have the advantage because it is cheaper for them to run cable internet long distances.

yes it does. If your going to test speedtest.net against testmy.net then you have to test from the dallas texas server so that it is equal distance.

over the last few days ive gotten quite a few emails from people saying that they are getting the MYSQL error for too many connections on the database, and ive been working for the last few hours but haven't been able to figure it out. i only have 400,000 records in my database. Does anyone here know of anything that i should try so that i don't have these errors anymore.

what it does is it accolates the memory to the video card so that nothing else can use it. thats why when you have a onboard video card windows will show less memory then you actually have. On a mac it will give the memory back to the OS untill the video card needs it vista will do the same thing if you have enough memory.
