things can get out of line buy just installing a simple program, it can get out of line even if you don't do anything, because the HD is constantly moving things around, to correct the 100's errors each second. thats why i defrag each month.

defrag that thing, music dvd's and storage stuff, it will make a big difference to defrag that HD get it organized, you should also notice a difference in speed, because the hd will be organized.

thats why ill probally never do another one again, too much spam.

I'm going to have to go with php, the aim servers are not seeing that his computer is off, because he never really singed off of aim, so the server still thinks he is there.

I'm sure it will happen eventually when i get a little older, and when i can't see as well.

anik welcome to the forum that speed is alsome, what is your advertised speed? and what is your upload speed? makes my connection look like crap.

Jamaica i have a program, at my office its 100% free, and works very well. when i go to work on Monday i will post a link to it. you also need to remember that no file recovery program is guaranteed, your most likely not going to get all that data back because you have probally overwritten some of it.

if you don't have a hardware firewall, then a good software firewall is a must.

yes increase it to 75hertz, the advantage is, if it is a CRT you wont see it flicker as much, and your eyes wont hurt as often. if it is a LCD, there is really no difference. because a LCD truly doesn't refresh.

vent is good, but if you run a vent server, it uses alot of bandwidth. + you have to pay for a real vent server. anyone can run a full TS server
