ME on LAN cant access the WAN IP 71.xxx.

So I have this computer that has Apache setup on it...I can access it just fine threw a proxy but when I type the external IP in, it times out.....it works with the lan IP just fine....but id like to beable to access it threw my external IP like I could with my DI-604....I have a Netgear MR814 v1

Ya...my old router (with verion dsl) used to dissconnect me every 2 hours (becuase thats when the lease time expires for the IP) ...make no sence but w/e then i got my new router and it has this function called "keep-alive" and it keeps the connection alive....maybe like once a month it disconnects or when somthin with the power goes wrong in this 105 degreeze temp.

Well if you really wanted to "hide" your ip address maybe you could setup your own DNS Server...
