  5. Hmm, sounds like it MAY be the ethernet card. Try a different card and retest again. If the problem still exists, then blame the ISP

So I decided to cancel the Turbo this morning.

  9. True............... So why don't they offer it as an option ? I'd gladly pay more, if they offered 15360 Kbps / 2048 Kbps Who knows, maybe they will offer it in the future. I'll call them and ask about it and see what happens.
  10. Thank you 33 years old and aint getting any younger
  11. 15360 Kbps / 2048 Kbps <-- I wish I had that Time Warner in Syracuse only offers 15360 Kbps / 1024 Kbps 10240 Kbps / 1024 Kbps <-- I currently have this Kinda pointless to offer higher download speeds for more money when its the upload we want.
  12. True, but..... Verizon offers more speed for same price. Up to 15 Mbps/2 Mbps $44.95/month The crappy part about it is, I don't have access to Verizons FIOS yet I want Up to 30 Mbps/5 Mbps but its $179.95 (and FIOS isnt available yet) boo! Oh yeah, and I cant afford it either.
  13. 15360 Kbps / 1024 package is $47 a month here in Syracuse
  14. haha, yeah, I knew something was messed up, thanx
  15. Due to my past experiences with onboard cards, I was just passing it along that I found my onboard card to do the same thing, and therefore I offered an idea to help rectify his situation, thats all. As for using CPU for processing.. the "Onboard Network Processor" can be utilized for this. Registry Settings System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters] Value Name: DisableTaskOffload Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value) Value Data: (0 = Use NIC Processor, 1 = Disable NIC Processor) All my problems (all 4 of them,on four different motherboards) were due to crapped out onboard cards. :-
  16. Syracuse don't offer the 15/2 package But if they do, guess who's gonna get it ?
  17. Hell yeah, lol Time Warner actually did something right for once!
  18. Is this a cable connection? If so, are you using a on-board ethernet card? If so, try using a seperate pci ethernet card and retest again.
