Yes, i know many of you are thinking why post this? i know already ya little baka!

but if even one person feels enlightened in any way... i will feel better about myself.

so... there...

BitTorrent is made for transferring files. It is peer-to-peer in , as users connect to each other directly to send and receive portions of the file. There is a central server (a tracker) which coordinates the action of all such peers. The tracker only manages connections, it does not have any knowledge of the contents of the files being distributed, and thus a substantial number of users can be supported with relatively limited tracker bandwidth.

Bittorents are used in a language of "python".

Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language,

Usually compared to "Java" or  as i call the pac-man of ones connection. just gobbles it up i tell ya. Anyway, it is very universal, like Latin except without the dead part.

name your OS, theres a great chance it will support it.

lets see...

Covered what, why... i thinks thats it

Theres more detailed stuff i could go into, but thats only after you start.

telling you now would just get confusing.

Oh and a list of clients as well would be nice huh.

1. Azureus (beware of this, Java based connection eating client if you have a slow conn.)

2. BitTorrent original (When i say simple, i mean reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally simple.

3. BitTornado (The sliiightly uprgaded orignal)

4. ABC (Yet Another Bittorrent Client)  (A even better version.)

I myself have tried these. i have not tried the new utorrent or whatever thing so i cant say anything bad about it yet.

I'm 98.96% sure this is all correct. :confused1:

how come for every bittorent client i ever used i get under 200kB/s when i download, but the average is around 20 - 30kb/s if im lucky?  im running on comcast 8/768 line and on file transfers i get a consisten 1100kB/s download rate?  i did everything i had to do to fix the torrents but still no luck with none of them.
